Shout out from a fellow DMV native (Mer-lin in the house!) and someone who has family in NC (Fayetteville). This was a great interview. Maybe I missed it in the interview, but how did you guys decide on San Miguel and your relocation destination?
Black colonizers coming to a country where they can get the best economic advantage of that's it. No difference. They are black still colonizers
Voted by who?
You guys have money that’s why you can afford it
FYI Nuevo Vallarta's name has been changed to Nuevo Nayarit. also, the traffic nowadays in PV is horrible.
Mexico 🇲🇽 el mejor país del mundo!!
Now this is the wonderful common sense attitude foreigners living in mexico should have, thank you ladies, unfortunately some foreigners like the ones the ladies are talking about think that the world owes them something and we all know who those Americans are, there is no room for racism in mexico, welcome ladies
You guys are so on point about everything! Such a wonderful, cute couple that I had to subscribe😊.
Si van vivir en México hablen español los MEXICANOS que van a USA se sacrifican por hablar inglés
love you all 3 beutifull womans❤️❤️
The Mexican people are very friendly and Mexico heve Manny nice places to go
I have been living in San Miguel de Allende for 5 years. The city is now unrecognizable. Why? The majority of Americans refuse to integrate, to learn Spanish, continue to pay US$, to use the British system, re temperature and measurements… They want to make SMA an enclave of the USA. How do people who want to relocate want to keep the environment they knew? I’m leaving in July, my next residence, Guadalajara.
The Governent of Mexici has to ask people from another country to pay taxes and respect the culture and learn to Respect the laws and speak their language and dont expect A lot because you are usa.
I love this. I'm thinking of living in Mexico in 6 months
I visited in 2021 with my passport stamped and im currently married to a mexican national can i get more info?
Please send us a message so we can point you in the right direction mexicorelocationguide.com/contact-us/
What would you recommend San Miguel or Guanajuato? I’m having a hard time
you should visit both and see which one feels right to you. No one can make that decision for you :)
I would like to know more about Chapala and Ajijic Mexico thank you
Sure! Visit our site- we have a ton of free info on those cities mexicorelocationguide.com/?s=ajijic
$1,000 a month works just fine , Trust me 😊
I think that your friendly personality and optimistic attitude is a factor that has greatly helped you.
Thanks to global warming, Guanajuato had two solid months of near 90s temperature in sitting 2024. It's very hot here and running out of water.
IT IS CALLED GENTRIFICATION. YOUR AVERAGE MEXICAN CANNOT LIVE IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD ANYMORE. STOP PROMOTING GENTRIFICATION, COLONIA AMERICANA HAS LOST ITS ESSENCE. TIME TO START DOING SOMETHING ABOUR THIS.
Im about to turn 47and I wish I can go to México and live there

Gracias, Mariana!
Love your videos! I’m in Banning,Ca
Thank you! and Bienvenid@
Just to clarify, there are not less trees in Providencia than in Ladrón de Guevara. It's actually the opposite. Providencia has 8 important parks and two linear parks in Pablo Neruda and Montevideo, and it's next to the biggest urban forrest, Los Colomos. Ladrón de Guevara has none. And both have tall trees in the sidewalks. If he was hotter in his Providencia apartment it's not Providencia's fault. It's the apartment situation in relation to the sun.
Mexico is beautiful. And is great for people that work in the USA and they want to retire,, but for US Mexicans like me that I came as a immigrants came to the USA,, because the pay is way to low for the citizens,, of course the people with a carrier is ok. But the common citizen is not good. I'm from the North of Mexico ,, I grew up very poor,, My Father wanted a better life for us ,so He brings us to Texas,, I been here for more then 30 years,, got my green card,,My children where born here, now I can tell you ,,yes Mexico is much better , everything here is so expensive . Yes Mexico is the place for me to retire.. with USA dollars,, not pesos.. 😊
I've lived in the Lake Chapala (Ajijic & San Antonio) area for 4.5 years and will relocate in November. I am interested in Colonia Americana - I would like to find a 2br furnished apartment with off-street parking. I am a single senior and walk with a cane. would need a flat area and if a tall building, also, an elevator.
Get in touch with us so we can point you to the right direction of which realtors we recommend mexicorelocationguide.com/contact-us/
I went to Puebla in the 2000‘s, it was really great! Merida looks interesting… grate compromise between heritage and sea proximity…
Great video, I was completely unaware of Queretaro, looks really beautiful
Surprised Rosarito was not on your list. Why not?
Viewing from Arizona.
Thats neat, thanks for the advice. God bless.🙋🙏
This was great! And you are glowing Shakira! Thank you for sharing.
Welcome to Mexico 🇲🇽
Just to clarify people, rent or mortgage will be the biggest expense you have anywhere in the world, not just Mexico.
Not necessarily. I know a lot of people that pay more for their medical bills in the USA than what their rent would be in Mexico. :)
Ladies, I’m definitely excited about seeing Mexico because of your video. Thank you!
I think Mexico is my place. Thank you Jacqueline and Chris.
Lovely couple ❤ Welcome to MX 🇲🇽
I am sure Mexico has a plan to get more revenue from these newly acquired residents. Who gives an amnesty to people who have already exited the country. I was in Costa Rica a decade or so ago when they decided to tax all the influx of new wealthy residents. They don't call it a tax, but disguised as participation of Social healthcare (aka CAJA). A couple of years ago, they again decided to top it up where the residents (including retirees) would also pay into the pension system. A pension plan that you would never quality to collect. Eventually they withdrew this for the retirees. Other residents, like the RENTISA are required to pay as much as $450 USD per month to the CAJA (for the health care system and pension components of the CAJA). As for Mexico, charging a $1000 USD + other fees to file your residency in Mexico sounds too steep. This is a gringo tax no doubt. Mexico is cashing in these expats. I would not be surprised if they soon require people to pay income tax for living in the country more than half the year (just like Colombia and Spain and many other countries) or as a legal resident reporting your worldwide income for tax purposes (like Canada does). Be careful what you sign up for. For most people 180 day tourist visa is more than adequate.
Hi Mariana! I can't seem to find the answer to my question anywhere but it's regarding the RNE Program and TIP. I am moving to PV MX and want to SHIP my vehicle (which is registered under my company with me as a guarantor). I have 2 questions: 1) if I go from FMM to TR via the RNE Program...what happens with my car, and the TIP? From what I understand I am suppose to drive it back to the boarder and physically cancel my TIP and drive out of the country. But if I am switching to a TR via the RNE Program will the car be safe and can I avoid this? 2) is shipping the vehicle the same as entering Mexico with a foreign plated vehicle? Or does the Mexican immigration/Banjercito consider it is as an import? I'm coming from Canada, I'm hoping to just be able to ship it but I don't understand how that works with getting a TIP. Thanks!
